Details

We offer several species of sweet nut hickory native to Canada or the northeastern United States for zone 3b to 5b. Hickories are excellent for the redevelopment of urban woodlands or woodlots with trees of low commercial value. Hickories have very hard wood, are very resistant to cold due to their determined growth and have become rare in nature. Their beauty and rarity in Eastern Canada means that we must plant many more of them. Their nuts are all edible except for bitternut hickory and hairless hickory.
