Seedlings propagated from Quebec seed source
the most northern version of pecan tree seeds that we have as a source for our production of small plants. These are representatives (parent trees) in their coldest range in the north Mid-West and Ontario. Northern pecan trees resist winter well as high as Lac-St-Jean in Québec zone 3b. They can stand down to - 35 celcius easily.
Growing your own pecans is an attractive idea if you have plenty of space - not just for one tree, but for two or even three, since pecan trees need cross-pollination from other pecan trees to produce a good harvest.
