Exposure to the sun. Ordinary soil, without too much sand, not too dry to cool. Sensitive to temperatures below -25°C and to cold and dry winter winds. Deciduous leaves. Spreading habit.

It will start to produce fruits 2 to 4 years after planting. Pruning is done in March, at the end of winter. In the fall, install a spiral on the trunk to protect it from sunburn and rodents, for the first few years.

Greenish yellow fruit with white flesh that is not granular and very aromatic. The most popular pear. Harvested in September. Eats fresh and keeps well. Pick the fruit when hard and still green and let it ripen in paper bags for at least 10 days. They will become excellent.

The 'Loving' pear is a pleasant tasting selection from Russia that is highly resistant to disease and cold. The fruit is firm and keeps well. It should be picked as the seeds begin to brown inside and the fruit ripens on the counter. Ideal for eating fresh and juicing. Dehydrates well. Fruit is large, round or broadly oval in shape. The main color of the skin at harvest is green with a slight yellowing, integumentary - sometimes a slight redness in the form of sunburn on the sunny side of the fruit. The Nova pear is a large pear with a thin yellow skin and a shape that is that of a typical pear but a little rounder with more meat on top. The flesh is juicy and has a silky texture that seems to melt in the mouth. It is one of the best dessert pears but is also suitable for canning and holds its shape very well. The pear clings well to the tree during ripening and is ready for harvest by mid-September.  The Nova pear tree is a good producer that fruits reliably and with excellent yields. The tree tends to be smaller and more spreading than most pear trees.

Russian variety

The tree is of medium size, with an irregular drooping crown of medium density. The main branches are curved, extending from the trunk and the main branches are smooth, brown. Fruiting mainly on loops, spears, spurs, and main purses. Annual shoots of medium length.

Fruits are medium-sized, pear-shaped with smooth, dry, glossy skin. The main color at the time of ripening is green but with a consumption color that is greenish-yellow, integumentary in the form of a light brown on a smaller part of the fruit. The pulp of the fruit is creamy, of medium density, tender, semi-oily, very juicy, sweet and sour with a weak aroma. The harvest period is around the third week of September. Moreover, the fruits are preserved until December which is excellent. Good resistance to extreme temperatures. The variety is fast growing. The yield is high. It is resistant to scab.

Manchurian variety

The Vekovaya pear has a very pleasant flavor, straddling the line between sweet and sour. The coloring is yellow with an intense red skin on one third of the pear. Vekovaya is a large pear-shaped fruit. The flesh is white, very crisp and juicy. The fruit can be stored for 1-3 months after harvesting. It is a very productive tree with large annual yields. It takes about 4 to 5 years to start fruiting and the fruit is ready to be harvested from mid to late September. There are no known disease problems to date.
