Its green and red striped skin marks easily, making it difficult to transport. Its white flesh is juicy, crunchy, fragrant, sweet and slightly tangy. The fruit is mature around mid-October and stores very well due to its low sugar content. Resistant to bacterial blight. It is an apple that can be used both as a knife apple and as a in cider apple.
