Chestnut (Nut trees)
We offer several species of chestnut or hybrid cultivars for zones 4 to 6. These cultivars are complex crosses of American chestnut with Chinese and Japanese chestnut. Both chestnut and hazelnut trees have a high pollination complexity deficiency, so it is best to plant them in groups, choose at least two kinds if possible. For the American chestnut, 3 plants will ensure cross pollination.
