European Variety
Trees produced from grafts in zone 4b
Greenish yellow fruit with non-grainy white flesh and very aromatic. The most popular pear. Harvest in September. Eat fresh and keep well. Prune during the dormant period (end of March, beginning of April). The tree is hardy in zone 4b. Better to plant it in a protected situation. Like most mature pear trees, it reaches a height of 4.5 m by 4.5 m wide. Pick the fruits when hard and still green and let them ripen in paper bags for at least 10 days. They will become excellent.
Pollination: Partially self-fertile, must be planted with another pear tree for pollination.
Compatible varieties: ANY European variety is compatible
Planting distance between trees: 12-14 feet.
Hardiness zone: 4b
