Our national sugar maple. Large tree over 25 m high from our southern forests which can live over 300 years. Ideal as an ornamental tree for its autumn colors and refreshing shade. Ideal in close planting for the production of quality wood or to enrich woodland. We strongly consider that the sugar maple has a much higher value than the silver maple which has been too often planted on our flowerbeds and in our parks, which has no interesting color and whose wood has a lesser value.
