European Variety
Upright shape then becoming more or less rounded with age. Likes rich, fresh and well-drained soil. Must be well sheltered from the winds. Yellow fall foliage. White, fragrant flowers. Produces sweet, elongated and firm plums. The fruits are blue, almost black, with greenish-yellow flesh and a loose stone. Good for fresh consumption. Exceptional for conservation or canning.
Pollination: Self-fertile but best results if pollinated with another plum tree.
Planting distance between the two trees: 12 feet.
