European Variety

Beautiful red fruit, medium to large in size with fairly firm flesh and a tasty Bartlett taste. The fruits are ripe towards the end of August. Prune all dead, weak, crossed branches in March. Requires well-drained soil, rich in humus and fresh.

Pollination: Self-sterile. Requires another pear tree for pollination.
