Archontophoenix cunninghamiana, better known as Cunningham's royal palm or Bangalow palm, is an elegant, graceful, fast-growing palm tree native to Australia.
It is a spectacular ornamental palm tree, highly prized in tropical and Mediterranean gardens, but also sometimes grown indoors or in conservatories in cooler climates.

- Type: single-trunk palm tree (non-suckering)

- Trunk:
- Smooth, light gray to greenish, often ringed with leaf scars
- Crowned with a bright green shaft (the sleeve at the base of the palms)

- Pinnate, arched, 2 to 3 m long
- Bright green above, silvery green below → very decorative effect
