Growing in a pot
For growing in pots during the hot season on the balcony in a greenhouse or in your interior courtyard like all varieties of figs. dormant period required between -2°C and 4°C during winter.
Fruits with shiny skin, with red to dark purple tones, depending on exposure to light and level of maturity. The pulp is a light strawberry color when ripe. It appears that the tree is completely parthenocarpic, it has some empty grains, or “kerks” in the pulp. The flavor is good, sweet, not very pronounced, the sugar content, which varies with climatic conditions, is high in ripe fruits. The tree grows vigorously, with an erect habit, with foliage having good resistance to diseases.
Self-fertile
Sunlight: full sun.
Soil: Well drained. Does not tolerate excessively wet soil, but needs good humidity during fruiting.
Once established, fig trees are drought tolerant and generally free of pests and diseases.
