Beautiful pine producing pine nuts. The tree is the most traded species for the global stock of pine nuts: high production in North-East China. The tree resembles white pine. The pine nuts inside the casseroles measure between 14 and 17 mm and can be counted in dozens of up to 80. The shells of the pine nuts are quite thin. It is very productive and it can withstand cold temperatures of -45°C, which places it up to zone (2b) in Canada. The tree has a beautiful ornamental look in addition to producing something to snack on. Ideal for windbreak projects or for those wishing to produce nuts in cold climates.
