Japanese quince trees are interesting for their flowering at the very beginning of spring in red, pink, orange or white and for their tomentose appearance. You can install it in a hedge or in a flower bed. It is easy to live with, accepting any type of climate and terrain. It will do well with a minimum of sun, while avoiding the scorching sun. It will be enough to prune it lightly after flowering to keep it looking harmonious. It is possible to consume their fruits in the form of jelly.
