Honeycrisp is a popular variety among consumers because it is exceptionally crunchy and juicy. It owes its name to the fine honey taste that characterizes it. Its flesh is a beautiful cream color and not very sensitive to oxidation. The fruits are usually large. Shelf life for approximately 5 months. This is the ideal apple, to be eaten in quarters for any occasion. Susceptible to bacterial blight. Some resistance to scab.
