The perennial hibiscus is distinguished by its very large flowers in different shades of pink, red or white and which can reach a diameter of 25 cm.
It is advisable to plant it in the sun in rich, moist to well-drained soil. Flowering lasts from August until October.
In the fall, it is recommended to prune the stems to 20-30 cm from the ground and add cedar mulch to the base of the plant to protect the roots from winter freezes/thaws. In spring, patience is required because the new shoots appear late, either towards the end of May or even the beginning of June.
