Self-fertile, but benefits from cross-pollination with another apricot.
Firm fruit, with orange skin tinged with red. Pruning in winter. Damaged or dead branches should be pruned to prevent disease. Regular watering, especially for young plants during periods of drought. Flowers fragile to late frosts in May.
Early cultivar producing pleasantly red-washed fruit, good quality for direct sale but not suitable for shipping or processing.
