Eleutherococcus sieboldianus (synonym: Acanthopanax sieboldianus) is an approximately 1 m tall shrub in the Araliaceae family. It tolerates cold climates (USDA hardiness zone 4 to 9) and likes shady situations. Originally from China, it belongs to the traditional pharmacopoeia.
