The Scotia variety produces the sweetest fruits but also the smallest. Their color is black and their flavor is reminiscent of blueberries. Its maturity is between the other two varieties. The trees have a lower growth habit than the York variety.

The Canadian elderberry is a magnificent, productive and decorative shrub. It produces fruit in the fall. It is a self-fertile shrub that benefits from being grown alongside different cultivars.The fruit is edible cooked or dehydrated. The cultivars offered have the characteristics for interesting commercial but also ornamental production. It is often used as a natural coloring and in the manufacture of juice mixes.

The recommended spacing between plants is 2 meters.
