Boasting a broad, rounded shape, this crabapple tree, supported by a short, greenish trunk, charms with its abundant flowering and tasty fruits.
From the end of May, its slightly ascending branches are covered with pinkish-white flower buds which, once warmed by the rays of the spring sun, reveal beautiful white flowers with a sweet scent. This abundant flower production generally occurs in the first year and, thereafter, every other year. In August, bright red edible crabapples follow its prolific flowering. They can be eaten fresh or, given their high pectin content, used to make jelly.
