The thorny angelica of the Araliaceae family is a shrub measuring barely 4 meters high in our latitudes. It is an interesting species both for its summer flowering and for its large prickly leaves. Flowering is from July to August.
Although there are many species (around 40), maintenance remains fairly identical and easy in all cases. Plant in a protected location and in full sun. Be careful, the species can emit suckers here and there. Ideal for impenetrable hedges to prevent animals from crossing onto your land.
