Thornless mulberry tree which produces pretty white flowers in August and then gives an abundance of large black fruits on 2nd year wood, in the sun or in partial shade. It produces long, tender stems each year that will produce the following year. When the young shoots of the year reach 1m in height, prune their crowns by a minimum of 10cm to encourage the development of lateral branches. When these are developed, count 6-8 buds per branch and prune the rest of the branch. In spring, start by pruning the branches that produced the previous year, if this was not done after the last harvest, as well as the branches that were dried and broken by the snow.
