Early to mid-season (mid July)
One of the best producers in Quebec, because it is very rustic. Bushy and vigorous variety. This variety produces a large, dark powder blue, sweet blueberry, but the size decreases as the season progresses. This is a bunched blueberry. Blueberries require acidic soil. It is best to space plants 1.5 m apart. Best production with (2) two or more plants.
Planting distance between plants for pollination: 3 to 4 feet.
Disadvantages: The fruit softens quickly after picking and is susceptible to anthracnose and sclerotinia rot.
