Legacy is a very productive blueberry variety that produces firm, sweet and aromatic fruits for a long period at the end of the mid-season, in mid-August. The fruit is large and keeps well. The shrubs are vigorous, upright and have good resistance to disease. Legacy is one of several notable blueberries in the USDA's Breeding and Hybridization Program.
It is necessary to have more than one variety to ensure good pollination.
