The Illiny Hardy blackberry is a winter-hardy variety of thorny blackberry. This fruit shrub is vigorous and its hardiness is -23 degrees Celsius. The fruits are ripe at the end of July. This blackberry produces an excellent harvest of black, shiny, tasty, medium-sized fruits. Plants are thorny, 5-6 feet tall and easy to care for in tight spaces. Phytophthora resistant. The plant must have a place to support its climbing branches.
