Excellent raspberry with a refined taste and good-sized fruits

Our favorite. Excellent flavor.

Raspberry tree that produces black, sweet fruits on its 2-year-old stems. Very hardy and vigorous variety with black-purple colored fruits, attractive and very tasty. Less invasive than other raspberries, it can produce in sun and partial shade. In spring, when the new shoots have reached 30'' in height, prune the crown by 2-3'', so as to encourage the development of lateral branches. When these are developed, count 8-10 buds per branch and prune the rest of the branch. Once fruiting is complete, remove the stems that have produced and the new stems whose diameter is less than 12 mm in diameter. Keep only 5 to 8 very sturdy stems per clump to encourage the growth of large, sweet fruits. (Prickly)
