Growing in pots
For growing in pots during the hot season on the balcony in a greenhouse or in your interior courtyard like all varieties of figs. dormant period required between -2°C and 4°C during winter.
The 'Bifara' fig is a very large, good quality purple fig, 3-4 cm (2"). We only recommend it for zones 6b and warmer. Fig maturation is long and warm. End of September.
Self-fertile
Sunlight: full sun.
Soil: Well drained. Does not tolerate excessively wet soil, but needs good humidity during fruiting.
Once established, fig trees are drought tolerant and generally free of pests and diseases.
