The âMandarin Lightsâ azalea is a deciduous variety from the Northern LightsÂź series, created by the University of Minnesota to withstand very cold climates.
It is distinguished by its spectacular spring blooms: large, bright tangerine orange flowers with a slight fragrance that appear before the foliage. Its compact habit and bright color make it an exceptional ornamental shrub for northern gardens.
