Still the standard cultivar for mid-season. Fruit with a very beautiful smooth skin and a dark orange background color. It holds well on the tree when ripe, but because of its intense coloring, care must be taken to pick ripe fruit when it is ripe. Bacterial black spot can cause problems in some years, but in general the health of the tree is excellent. Recommended for the fresh market and for household preserves.
