The Altaiskaya variety has none or very few thorns. This cultivar produces an abundance of orange fruits which are easily picked by hand for pruning branches.
The fruit maturity period is from the beginning of August to the beginning of September. The fruits are yellow-orange in color with a mild taste. The shrub reaches a height of around 1.5 m when mature.
Must be pollinated by a male plant.
