This species proliferates in the wild in the mixed forests of eastern North America. It develops into a medium to large tree with a rounded to airy conical crown, which tends to become rounded over the years. This tree grows up to 20 m high and up to 10 m wide. In its natural habitat, it reaches almost 30 m in height. It should be noted that its pointed buds are not slimy. The palmate leaves generally consist of 5 leaflets, sometimes even 7. Their diameter measures 15 cm. Its dark green leaves are hairless, although the underside is initially extremely pubescent. When autumn comes, its leaves turn yellow-brown and fall very quickly. Its light yellow flowers with pink highlights are arranged in small panicles. The fruits as well as the sprouts on the ground are toxic. This tree tolerates covering and paving well, but suffers from salt salt. Hardy in zone 4a.

IMPORTANT: We do not deliver trees 7' and over! (Nursery pickup only)
