Magnificent pine producing smaller pine nuts (9 to 12 mm) compared to Korean pine but extremely hardy. The tree can withstand cold temperatures of -55°C which means it can easily grow in sectors (2a). The tree is very ornamental and has an appearance between the red pine and the white pine. Recommended for planting for the production of pine nuts in very cold areas.
