Russian variety
Breeding of varieties Tyoma and Lyubimitsa Klappa from breeder S.P Yakovlev
The 'Loving' pear is a palatable selection from Russia that is ultra resistant to disease and cold. The fruit is firm and keeps well. It should be picked as the seeds begin to brown inside and then the fruit ripens on the counter. Ideal for eating fresh and making juice. Dehydrates well. The fruit is large, one-dimensional round or broadly oval. The main color of the skin at the time of harvest is green with a slight yellowing, integumentary - sometimes a slight redness in the form of sunburn on the sunny side of the fruit. The pulp is very juicy, tender sweet and sour, with a fairly good taste. Harvest maturity occurs in the first 10 days of September. The fruits keep for about a month. The variety is resistant to major fungal diseases.
Pollination: Self-sterile. Requires another pear tree for pollination.
