Pawpaw Grafted. Will produce quickly. Ideal for growing in pots at the bottom of zone 5b-6a
Extra sweet fruit. This tree produces bountiful harvests of 25 to 50 pounds at maturity, perfect for cooking, canning and freezing. Cold resistant. It is best to plant in neutral soil, partially exposed to sun. Maturities at the end of September. For adequate pollination, plant another variety of grafted paw paw. A popular variety for growing in the northernmost range of paw paw cultivars. Early maturity and very good quality. The fruits can grow very large, up to 1 pound (on average about 6-12 ounces). The dark yellow, almost orange flesh is juicy and sweet and has a refreshing and very pleasant tropical fruit flavor. A popular cultivar in Ontario. For zones 4a-4b and even up to 5b it is recommended to grow it in a pot like all grafted paw pawsor to plant it in a place highly protected from the winds. For adequate pollination, plant another variety of paw paw.
