Rhododendron with evergreen foliage. Its large leaves are dark green on top and pale green below. Its shape is quite compact and it resists the heat of our summers well. Creamy white flowers. Adding potting soil for acid-loving plants is essential for planting. A spring application of acidifying fertilizer is recommended. Moist, well-drained soil. Avoid excessive watering. Mulch recommended.
