Black walnut nuts are available now for your own experiments.
We sell them unstuck and cleaned. After receiving them in the spring, sow them in the ground 2 inches deep or keep them in the fridge over the winter in a bag of slightly damp sand and plant them in the spring.
Be careful, without stratification, the nuts will not germinate. The seeds must go through a cold period without freezing. Ideal stratification temperature between 0 and 4°C. Plastic bag with damp sand ideal for stratification.
