As its name suggests, the scarlet oak is a spectacular ornamental oak for its bright red fall color. Its leaves, similar to the leaves of the red oak, are even more cut into deep “C”-shaped lobes. In an open location, the tree is spectacular and will enhance your land. The tree reaches a good size and has a good hardiness of almost 4b.
