The medium-sized fruits are very firm, juicy and sweet. Fruiting takes 3 to 5 years. All dead branches should be pruned to prevent disease. Does not like prevailing dry and cold winds in winter. Height 4 m by 4 m wide.
For growing below zone 5: Grow in pots and lay on the ground late in fall so that snow covers the plant and protects it.
