A popular introduction from Cornell University known for its consistently high yield of large, dark, well-flavored fruits. Black gold has good crack resistance and flowers very late, making it extremely frost-resistant. This exceptional sweet cherry is self-fertile and also a good pollinator, but not for early flowering varieties. SELF-FERTILE | ZONE 5 or 6 | HARVEST: LATE JULY-EARLY AUGUST.
