This deciduous shrub with downy branches produces abundant white spring flowers tinged with pink, followed by small, bright red, ornamental, semi-sweet cherries. Both delicious for preserves or fresh and decorative, this small, fast-growing cherry tree, requiring little water, very resistant to cold, is therefore cultivable in almost all our regions. Give it a sunny or partial shade position and well-drained soil.
