Or prunus maackii, cluster cherry. Tree growing freely in the far north-east of China, where the winters are milder, but the climate is very humid. Planted in parks and gardens for the undeniable golden hue that the aged trunk takes on. Easy to grow, it tolerates harsh winters at -25°. In general it is preferred planted alone. Sometimes it measures up to 10 meters. Plant in low light to appreciate the blooms and see the sun in winter shading the trunk, magical! It can live up to 300 years.
