Decorative and very vigorous shrub producing bouquets of large light red fruits on 2-3 year old wood. Late and very productive. Excellent for jelly or jam. The most productive of the red currants and easy to pick. It is self-fertile. Best production if you have two plants side by side. Its pectin content is high. Its acidic and slightly fragrant taste goes well with other fruits to make jellies, jams and syrups.
