Mid/late season
Shamrock is a crisp and juicy, tart green apple. At his peak, Shamrock develops a light blush. Its flesh is light green and creamy, and it has a coarse texture with a flavor similar to McIntosh, but more tart. Good for both eating fresh and cooking, but enjoy them close to harvest, as they have ashort shelf life. Shamrock is a great choice to include with other apples in pies and gravy.
Planting distance between trees: 14 feet.
