An excellent variety to plant. Zone 5b minimum or for pot growing in 3b-5a
For growing in pots between zones 3b and 5b. Lay the tree under the snow in winter with or without a protective cover. Repot in a larger pot as needed each year.
Variety that is rapidly gaining popularity due to its many desirable attributes: Size is large and round, flesh is firm, yellow and almost hairless. The fruit is quite amazing on the trees as it has almost 100% red skin. The tree is naturally compact and is a sturdy plant, even in windy areas. . Self-fertile, but gives larger harvests when planted near a different peach variety with a similar flowering time. Ripens in late August.
