Growing in a pot
For growing in pots during the hot season on the balcony in a greenhouse or in your interior courtyard like all varieties of figs. dormant period required between -2°C and 4°C during winter.
The 'Panache tiger' fig tree produces attractive fruit with a green and yellow striped exterior. When ripe, the fruit inside is strawberry red with a slightly dry flesh with an extremely sweet and mild taste. Plants have good vigor, growing up to 12 feet tall and with multiple branches. The fruits ripen very late in the season, so the plants thrive in climates with long growing seasons.
Self-fertile
Sunlight: full sun.
Soil: Well drained. Does not tolerate excessively wet soil, but needs good humidity during fruiting.
Once established, fig trees are drought tolerant and generally free of pests and diseases.
